This people group is known throughout the world for their mountaineering achievements and skills, but many have never heard the good news of Christ. Their involvement in the tourism industry makes learning English very important. Living in the Tibetan Buddhist area of Kathmandu and teaching English is a great avenue for ministry and will provide many opportunities to build relationships and share the gospel. Prayer walking this spiritually dark area will be an important part of your ministry.

We need teams of two to go into some of the hardest areas in the world and find areas of responsiveness. We believe that in a state in the heartland of India there are people that God is already drawing to Himself. We are asking for spiritually mature individuals to go into the darkness and find those people and those places. This is a rescue mission of the most important kind. You and a partner of the same gender will travel by bus, train, foot, or even ox carts to two cities over three weeks.

The Baptist Union of Wales has been in decline for the last 80 years in membership (from 140,000 to 16,000). The greatest need is for youth and children's work as the churches are made up primarily of the elderly. A team of 2-4 students (m or f) is urgently required as a general ministry team in Bethlehem/Spittal Baptist churches to reach out to teenagers, younger children, and their parents. Most teenagers have no Christian background at all. They have, in essence, never heard the Gospel.
